Martha Mooke is a pioneer in the field of the electric five string viola/violin. She has developed a unique musical voice by synthesizing her classical music training with extended techniques, digital effects processing and improvisation, while retaining the depth and soul of the instrument. A Yamaha Performing Artist, she is a leading clinician on electric strings and alternative approaches to playing including the use of electronics, extended techniques and improvisation. Her credits include Barbra Streisand, David Bowie, Philip Glass, Bon Jovi, Peter Gabriel, Enya, Trey Anastasio, Iggy Pop and Lou Reed.

Alex has invented an instrument called the Electric Djembe. Using African Djembes, Ethnic Percussion and toys, with Shure Wireless Mics and custom Guitar F-X Pedals and Loop Boxes allows him to create sounds that range from drum machine emulation to ambient keyboard pads and washes. He has performed at Lilith Fair with; Sarah Mclachlan, Sheryl Crow, Emmylou Harris, Me-shell NdegeOcello, Sinead O_Connor, Winona Judd, Chrissie Hynde, Ashwin Sood, Everett Bradley & jazz legend Ornette Coleman. Additional credits include Dido, Eminem, Chaka Kahn, Ritchie Blackmore, Joy Askew, Bernie Worell, The Association, Toots and the Maytalls, Sophie B. Hawkins, J.C.
